Meet Dr. Naidu

Deepak K. Naidu, MD

Raised in Augusta, Georgia, Dr. Naidu graduated Summa Cum Laude from Vanderbilt University with a double major in English and Molecular Biology, with Honors in the College of Arts and Sciences. Dr. Naidu continued his training at Emory University School of Medicine, where he began his surgical career.

After completing his residency in General Surgery at the University of Louisville and his Hand and Microsurgery fellowship at the Christine M. Kleinert Institute, Dr. Naidu relocated to Tampa, Florida for his Plastic Surgery Residency at the University of South Florida. Dr. Naidu started his professional career at the Bay Pines VA Healthcare System, where he was on staff as a Plastic Surgeon. In addition, Dr. Naidu launched his aesthetic practice in Downtown Tampa to cater to the active urban lifestyle.


Most recently, Dr. Naidu transitioned his practice to St. Petersburg to lead Bayfront Health Medical Group Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery. His current practice now encompasses broad aspects of plastic and reconstructive surgery including aesthetic breast surgery including breast reduction, facial plastic surgery, body contouring procedures, skin cancer reconstruction, management of post-traumatic injuries, and gender-affirming upper body procedures. In addition, he works closely with other surgical subspecialties to assist in their reconstructive needs, including breast cancer surgery, colorectal surgery, and orthopedic trauma. Dr. Naidu recently renewed his board certification by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.

Dr. Naidu loves plastic and reconstructive surgery. He is devoted to his clients, and only wants exceptional results for them. When not at work, you may spot him running on Bayshore, dining out at his favorite Tampa restaurants, or enjoying the arts and culture that Tampa Bay has to offer.
